Interleukin 35 (IL-35) is a cytokine member of the IL-12 family produced by regulatory T cells. IL-35 is a heterodimer comprised of one p35 monomer and one EBI3 monomer. IL-35 is thought to play an important role in regulatory T cell suppression of inflammation. In addition to IL-35, EBI3 is also a monomer in the IL-27 heterodimer. V1.4F5.25 does not recognize EBI3 when part of the IL-27 heterodimer.
